In our small classes of 6 to max of 8 people, we will discuss everything you need to know about lactic fermentation techniques particularly around vegetables, and touch on their beneficial effects on our bodies. During the workshop you will get to try various live lacto fermented goodies we have on the go as well make 3 types of fermented vegetables. A traditional kimchi, a sauerkraut and a kimchi water or other type of seasonal vegetable. You will get to take home 3 jars of fermenting vegetable goodness (which can cost over £30 in a health food store) to observe your creations as they ferment, along with the recipes and the knowledge to experiment further at home.

Fun Fact
Good bacteria in fermented foods produce neurochemicals that can dramatically benefit our health and even affect our mood by making us happier. Scientists are shocked by what they have discovered in the past 20 years: Good bacteria in the gut can influence your behaviour. Gut bacteria influence the expression of immune system chemicals that inhibit or promote inflammation, and gut bacteria also contribute to the endocrine system.
